Keep Tiger Pride Alive!
Do you have questions about the announced closure of Horace Mann Academy? Do you live in the area and want to keep our neighborhood school open for families in the community?
Join concerned families and community members for an informal meeting about the San Antonio ISD’s decision and what we can do to save our school.
Petitions supporting our cause will be available at all meetings.
Make sure to make and bring a friend.
The vote is in. All seven trustees voted to close 6 SAISD schools on the superintendent's list.
1. Bowie Elementary
2. Carroll Academy
3. Cooper Middle School*
4. Horace Mann Academy
5. Pfeiffer Academy
6. Travis Elementary
(Cooper Middle school made the Texas Monthy Best School List,
sure let's close them!!!) .
The next SAISD board meeting will be held:
Monday, November 10, 2008 Work Session
In Duron's contract, it mentions the board will review his performance twice--in January and in June. I wonder when they'll do that. Hmmmmmmmm
Monday, November 17, 2008 Board Meeting
